The Lemonade Year

This pristine cover almost makes me pucker up just looking at it. Lemons….

“Nina’s once-sweet life has unexpectedly turned sour. Her marriage is over, her job is in jeopardy, and her teenage daughter is slipping away from her.  Then her father dies and issues with Nina’s mother come to a head; her estranged brother, Ray, comes home; and her sister, Lola, is tempted to blow a big family secret out of the water. They say the truth will set you free, but first it will make a huge mess of things.”

  1. I was offered a review copy of this but at the time I was desperately trying to catch-up on my reviews. I would love to win this book! I love the cover.

  2. We all need second chances at some point in our lives! Sounds like an interesting read about family dynamics!

  3. My life is a bit of a mess right now but i have decided to make Lemonade out of my lemons. Carol King sings the song Beautiful and i am trying to live by the start of her song-wake up every morning with a smile on your face and show the world all the love in your heart.

  4. I think that many of have years that are lemons ( I know I did). But it’s how we make lemonade from it that shows our resiliency. I would like to read this to find out how the main character made her lemonade from the lemons!
