BEACH TOWN, by Mary Kay Andrews, is funny, witty, and charming.
Greer Hennessy is a movie location scout straight out of Hollywood. She’s on a quest to find the perfect setting for a film her company wants to make in Florida. The trouble comes when Greer is not able to find exactly what her very demanding boss is looking for. Then she stumbles upon a lost and forgotten community in a Florida gulf coast town.
I always say “beware” whenever something seems to be too good to be true. Cypress Key seems to have everything the boss ordered. Even the sea oats. And when Greer meets the mayor who is nothing like you would expect a mayor to be like, well.. He’s an environmentalist and he’s feisty.
Toss a little romance into the mix of a Florida beach and you’ve got yourself a good case of BEACH TOWN.
