I always say if it’s summertime, it’s time for a new novel by Elin Hilderbrand. This year it’s THE MATCHMAKER. Another fabulous story told on the island of Nantucket.
I’ve been following Hilderbrand since her first novel. She has never failed to transport me to this island paradise where real down-to-earth stuff happens to real women. I’m sure this one will not disappoint. Review will air around pub date: June 10.
We’ve all been waiting for Lisa See to grace us with a new novel. And here it is. Love the cover! Takes place in San Francisco. See is the author of the classic novel SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN. CHINA DOLLS will pub on June 3.
SUNDANCE: A NOVEL by David Fuller, could not be coming out at a better time of year. Just in time for Father’s Day! It’s a retelling of what might have happened if The Sundance Kid didn’t die in the shootout in Bolivia all those years ago. Fuller pens dialogue like nobodys business. I will be running my review with a Q&A soon. Pub date is May, 29.
I am reading THE SUMMER WIND by Mary Alice Monroe right this moment. And I do not want it to end. It’s the second novel in a trilogy. And, boy, is it good! Sullivan’s Island. All your favorite characters are back. The turtles are back, as are the dolphins. And the three sisters are still trying to get their lives straightened out with the help of their grandmother, Mamaw. Pub date is June 17.
There are way too many wonderful books coming out this summer for me to list them all today. But I promise to keep giving you peeks every so often so you will not miss a thing!
