BRING UP THE BODIES by Hilary Mantel is the sequel to her 2009 Man Booker winner WOLF HALL. I have been eagerly anticipating this one. This new installment explores the downfall of Anne Boleyn. I love reading about Anne Boleyn. With writing this good, who wouldn’t be. Something to look forward to. Will be available May,8.
SINS OF THE FATHER by Jeffrey Archer will also be available May, 8. If you read the first one in this five- part series, you are probably jumping up and down on the edge of your seat. They put off the pub date once. But, trust me, this will be out on the 8th. Is awesome. Review will pub on same day.
Oh boy! We are all in for a treat with this one. A prequel to Mary Alice Monroe’s THE BEACH HOUSE. Just look at this pristine cover. Sets the tone immediately. This one also on sale May,8. Looks like a big day for publishing.
This character- driven novel will captivate you with its cast of unlikely characters. I’m just into it about 100 pages, so stay tuned. But from what I’ve heard, it’s a winner. On sale now.
Okay, I’m going to admit it right off the bat. This is a difficult topic and will not appeal to everyone, but fans of Irving will appreciate the writing and the story. This will be a topic for discussion for a long time. IN ONE PERSON is about a bisexual man dealing with, what else? His sexuality. Early May.
SEATING ARRANGEMENTS by Maggie Shipstead will be available in early June. This sometimes satiric novel of summertime brings forth memories of weddings past, perhaps. And much angst. Great writing with a unique story.
