THE ORCHARDIST by Amanda Coplin is my favorite book of the year! This novel has everything a great novel must have. A must-read for bookclubs and avid readers everywhere.
THE ART FORGER by B.A. Shapiro stole my heart. What a unique and special novel to grace my list.
CANADA by Richard Ford is an amazing coming of age tale told in brilliant prose that will become a classic.
FLIGHT BEHAVIOR by Barbara Kingsolver is an amazing story of global warming and characters that will melt your heart. Her best since POISONWOOD BIBLE.
HEMINGWAY’S GIRL by Erika Robuck takes us back to the 1930′s when Ernest Hemingway was living in Key West. It also takes us back to the building of the railroad through the Keys, and the unnamed storm of 1935 that took the railroad away. Robuck has done her homework on this one. You are bound to love it.
HEADING OUT TO WONDERFUL by Robert Goolrick is a page-turner and a half! Not only did I not want to put it down, I did not put it down. Even better than A RELIABLE WIFE.
I received my copy of THE LOST WIFE by Alyson Richman as a gift last Christmas. It’s as good as the cover promises.
THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS by M.L. Stedman was chosen by B&N as a Discover New Writer novel. With its rich prose and unique and deep story, it has turned out to be everything a great novel should be.
THE WOMAN WHO HEARD COLOR by Kelly Jones is a tightly written novel of a different side of Germany WW11.
THE THREAD by Victoria Hislop is a rich and satisfying novel that takes place in a part of Greece that is little known: Thesaloniki. Knowing that the story is based on a real family makes it all the more exciting,
WINTER OF THE WORLD is maybe the most anticipated novel of the year. Ken Follett has outdone himself with this epic novel; second of three in his Century Trilogy. Just imagine what we have to look forward to with the third installment!
