I recently read a review copy of Beth Gutcheon’s “Gossip.” It’s coming out next month. She’s writing mostly about NYC in this one, and oh is it good.
So looking forward to reading this memoir of a year spent in Paris. “Paris In Love” is written by Eloisa James who is a sophisticated writer of romance novels. Who knew! Her time in the city of light stems from a blog she kept while there. Looks delightful.

I look forward to your recommendations and almost always read the wonderful books you suggest. Have you ever read any Jodi Picoult books and another great author named Penny Vincenzi who wrote a trilogy which took place during the second world war? It is the kind of family saga that makes you fall in love with the characters and worry about what is going to happen to them. Keep on blogging, I am a fan!! Mary-Jane Kitchen
Thanks so much for your kind words. I have read Jodi Picoult. THE SIMPLE TRUTH is my fav. I have not read Vincenzi. Which two about WW11 would you recommend?
